Originally developed for a quick disconnect missile application, this Series has 19 and 37 contacts. Each contact arrangement has a normal and alternative keying system permitting two receptacles to be mounted side by side preventing mismating. The plug simply “snaps” into the receptacle and disconnects by pulling on the coupling ring or an optional lanyard.
